And there’s more… the Albatross Centre Art Competition:

Embrace this year’s Festival theme ‘weather’ and create a drawing to show us how you think weather impacts or links to our local Otago wildlife! Happy drawing - perhaps show how a little penguin would deal with a huge storm way out at sea, or an albatross during a really hot day sitting on its nest Try to think about what kind of weather our wildlife might really enjoy - and what kind of weather wouldn’t be so good for them!

Age categories: 0-5 years, 6-8 years, 9-12 years, and 13+ - please indicate on your drawing your age category. Ideally bring the original artwork to the Royal Albatross Centre or send in your entries via email. All entries brought to the Centre receives a postcard.

Entries close on Sunday 28th April 2024 and winners announced Tuesday 30th April. Prizes will be up for grabs which will need to be picked up from the Royal Albatross Centre.

For info phone - 03 4780499 - email:  reservations@albatross.org.nz
