Be fascinated by seeing kororā, the world's smallest penguin, emerging from the sea at dusk to go to their nest sites at Takiharuru/Pilots Beach, Otago Peninsula.

Learn about the significance of the site to Māori and see the restoration work occurring within this important wildlife reserve.

Blue Penguins Pukekura tours start within the Royal Albatross Centre and occur at dusk when this species of penguin returns to land from a day spent at sea.

Only one tour is available each night with 30 places so bookings are essential.
